  remaining true to herself. The charismatic and vocally nuanced violist\, 
 singer and sound artist from Vojvodina (Serbia)\, who has injected conside
 rable vitality into the local music scene with ensembles such as Catch-Pop
  String-Strong\, Sormeh and Madame Baheux\, now puts together a new projec
 t and a new team following her highly acclaimed solo programme “La Folia”.
 \n\n\n\nIn a booklet published by the Theodor Kramer Society\, she discove
 red the poems of Polish-Viennese poet Tamar Radzyner (1927–1991) and was d
 eeply impressed. The Polish Jewish poet\, who was active in the political 
 resistance and survived the Shoah\, found a new home in Vienna and in the 
 German language\, worked with Georg Kreisler and Topsy Küppers\, and wrote
  poems filled with cheerful pessimism and bitter wit.\n\n\n\nJelena Poprža
 n creates a musical memorial to her with a song cycle. However\, the large
 r part of the programme consists of her brand-new instrumental composition
 s – pieces filled with imaginative soundscapes and melodic stories – accom
 panied by three outstanding mainstays of the local jazz scene: Christoph P
 epe Auer\, Clemens Sainitzer and her Madame Baheux colleague Lina Neuner.
